About Copenhagen

Denmark's charming capital city is a metropolis, but one with a human face. A round trip of the inner city is easily managed on foot. The medieval city and its old, cobbled streets provide an evocative backdrop to a thriving cultural scene, with its art galleries, museums, music and theatres. Europe's longest pedestrian street, Strøget, winds its way through the inner city, with its shops full of world-class Danish design, fashions and much more. On the city squares and along the charming canals the cafés and restaurants are blooming. The city districts of Nørrebro, Vesterbro and Østerbro encircle the inner city, and spark off the very latest trends.

Lifestyle magazines world-wide are in complete agreement: Copenhagen is the modern capital of Scandinavia. And the city's innovative restaurants and buzzing cafe life have played an important role in the city's rise to prominence. For more information about Copenhagen please see
