Getting around in LinzFor getting around in Linz, the Linz AG Linien offer fast and efficient tram and bus connections (timetable, map of connections). Tickets can be obtained at ticket machines in every station and must be bought (and validated) prior to departure. For a single trip, you should buy a MIDI ticket (1.80 €). If you plan to travel more than once per day, a MAXI ticket (3.60 €) is the best choice as it is valid for unlimited travelling thoughout the day (day-pass). Tramlines 1 and 2 connect the university with the inner city and the main shopping street (Landstraße), as well as with the central railway station.
